We are now only hours away from the NA release of Happy Home Designer. As this is the final day, I will post the most pictures. I have essentially finished all I care to do in this game, as Rainy (Lily) has a house, all projects are finished, and I have all the actions (emotions). Here is a summary of the homes I finished:
(I love polkadots!)
(I guess she wasn't lying, she does love them!)
(Pirate's Den)
(Arrrr!)
(Pirate Dens have booty rooms, right?)
(Select Brand Shop)
(Thinking it means a department store quality shop)
(Room that looks like a Hospital Lobby)
(that's what he asked for!)
(A nice womanly space to live in)
(girly enough? I don't know, I'm not a girl!)
(Asian resort style)
(about as "Asian" as I could think of)
(Princess classroom)
(Not sure why she called it a classroom, but whatever)
(In the name of cheese? Not 100% sure)
(made it a "cheesy" restaurant!)
(Art cafe)
(tough trying to mix art and cafes!)
(I'd like a final Sleek room)
(looks pretty Sleek I'd say)
(I'd like a pool house)
(he asked for it)
(Everyday's a Birthday Party)
(this actually required the sign outside, so I did this)
(and this)
(A place to work on Manga)
(there's little chance "Manga" will be retained in localization)
(Squid and battle room)
(Splatoon connection here? Both had the same developers!)
(Recording Studio)
(Dedicated to Hitomi-san, taught me Japanese, and plays taiko)
That's pretty much it for the majority of my houses, as it gave me all 48 actions (emotions in localization). Here are the 8 new ones (not sure what all they'll be named in localization, but my translations of them along with what they do are below):
(Completed- it's what you and the animals do when you finish)
(Fight- it's the encouragement pose Takumi/Lottie gives)
(Woman pose- you pose like a woman)
(Man pose- you pose like a man)
(Amazed- you have 3 lines above your head)
(You can entrust me- put your fist on your chest)
(Explaining- your hands and head go up and down)
(Next time- you bow)
I was originally planning to end the blog with the emotions, but Japan received an update recently. It introduced the tsukuttaa to go online and visit other players houses and projects that they've uploaded. Each one receives its own code. This is similar to Super Mario Maker's levels.
However, you can give them up to 3 ratings in each category- cute, unique, cool, I want to live there- last will probably change in localization. Although, this has allowed me to see what others have done, including Number 7 which can only be received via a 7-11 in Japan. Here is one of my favorites:
(left says "kuruma" or "car" in hiragana, banner katakana says "open")
(Here's Number 7 sitting on the food- ewwwww!!)
(Doing system maintenance now)
Tomorrow the game releases in English, so no longer will I have to translate as I play. This has been a fun ride, and thank you for joining me on it. I have given thanks to her in the past, but once again I must thank my Japanese sensei Hitomi-san, she was strict- VERY strict, but I learned a lot of Japanese from her.
For fans of the series, I highly recommend picking this up. Since my last review of the game, the update has occurred, and now I no longer feel like this is repetitive anymore, as I no longer have to design anymore, I can simply use the tsukutta and check out what other designers have done. This will definitely be refreshing to those who feel the repetitive burnout that will happen from the daily repetition. I still rate the game in the 8's, being closer to an 8.5 now, as it is still a designing game, but you can sit back, and just enjoy your fellow decorators hard work. Thank you for reading, and have a happy designing day tomorrow!
(Arigatou gozaimashita!)
