Now, on to day 23. That one involved Chomoran's appearance, and since he's also in my Japanese New Leaf town, he's going to be in this town too- why not, right? Apparently his request was to "sleep outside", which I took as "camping", so I put his plot around a river- you know so he can go fishing for food. Here's his exterior:
Nah, I didn't block him in, but I did make it like this:
His interior I tried to go with a cabin, here's how it looked:
The 24th day Caviar (Kiki) showed up, and since I had her in Wild World, of course she's going to be welcome here! Her request was rather funny- I think intentionally. It was "surrounded by fish"- come on a cat surrounded by fish, what are the odds? Here's how I did the interior/exterior:
Day 25 and Shizue shows up, and we've got an even bigger New Town! Of course it's still not developed, I have to do more, but we're coming along nicely!!
(Ah, good morning! Today let's do our best!)
I had a tough decision to make, do a house, or another project. So... I opted for the project. It's of course another shop, and I didn't have a hair salon, but also wanted a clothing store, so I kind of merged the two the way Wild World did when Harriet first showed up:
Day 26 started out the same as every other day. Only it was about to turn awesome. I started work like all the other days, going outside to see who was there, and then I saw her. My biggest love of all the villagers! The one and only I'd trade all my other villagers for! The biggest love of mine since I first got into the series, RAINY! Lily is her English name. THERE SHE WAS!!! I was about to get my most favorite villager EVER!!! I first had her in the original, fell in love with her, she moved away, and I thus stopped playing the series until I gave it another chance in Wild World, and thankfully, a used second copy gave me her again, and she's also in my NA New Leaf town, totally never leaving me again!!! Sorry for the long read, back to the gaming blog! Her request was to live in a moisture environment- I figured a jungle type was what she wanted, along with the green color style that she seems to love:
After the euphoria that day 26 was, no other days would ever live up to that one, but we must go on! To day 27! This one involved using another amiibo card- one I ordered online since it didn't show up in any of my packs. It kind of merged New Leaf and Happy Home Designer. Remember when Isabelle in New Leaf said her room was full of boxes (and she collects seashells)? Since she's besties with Nook, she got many, MANY gold statues from him, but too bad she doesn't have time to unload her boxes (looks like she's getting ready to race again in Mario Kart):
Along the lines of staying with her, on day 28 we talk with Shizue and find out we can do either a hotel, or a music hall. So, I opted for the hall- gotta have a place to listen to KK, don't we? Here's how it turned out:
Last day of the week, we take in a show at the hall, and find a pink deer singing with KK in the audience! Geez, this game is super cute!!
Back to designing though. Last house for the week would have to be the villager with whom Lily swapped kuchiguse (catchphrase), and that was Ribbot, who's Gacha in Japan. What a surprise, he requested a robotic theme. Here's how I did it:
(I like furniture that looks like a robot)
Thanks for reading, and note that this weekly blog is now going to turn into a bi-weekly blog, with summaries for 2 weeks instead of 1 as the town is developing and growing so little anymore, but when this blog is complete by September 24, I will make sure to post how the town turned out, all the actions (emotions) I have and any other pertinent information to the game so you can enjoy what I've done, and the following day in the US, pick up the game for yourself and enjoy it too. Next blog post will be September 10, so until then! Bye.
